Training for Savvy Caregivers of Dementia Patient

Asian Center – SE MI is planning to offer a training program for dementia patient caregivers. The class is free for qualified participants. The training meets once a week for two hours for a total of six weeks. After the six-week sessions, the participants will have a better understanding of dementia, be able to manage the patient’s behavior with newly learned techniques, have better daily life and know how to do self-care and manage resources. Qualified participants must be caring for a dementia patient currently, but not working as a professional caregiver and is of Asian decent. Sitting is very limited.
